In honor of Earth Month, our Sunday School class planted a garden on Sunday, April 27. This was in conjunction with the story of the Creation in Genesis, Chapter 1. On the third day, “God decided to make the world even more dazzling, with tall trees and long grass. And then the first flower opened in all its glory.” (From Children of God Storybook Bible by Desmond Tutu)

Led by parishioner Leneka Maddox, the children planted cucumbers, watermelon, cantaloupe, potatoes, and flowers.

Come and take a look at what’s growing!
