After leading her last worship service at Christ the Good Shepherd on Sunday, June 28, Rev. Susan Anderson-Smith will begin the next exciting phase of her life: Retirement.
In an inspirational sermon, Rev. Susan said, “I have been called to welcome and matter all lives in some different ways that necessarily compel me to leave this place and to retire from active ministry.”
She continued, “I have such profound gratitude for you and the many blessings you have showered on me during my time with you.”
The music for this combined service was performed by the Episcopal Chorale led by Canon Chas Cheatham.
A delicious potluck followed the service in the parish hall.
