Dr. Raven Barrow-Dunn was the guest speaker at Women’s Day on Sunday, March 26.
Barrow-Dunn’s topic, “Finding Our Way Back Home,” was about the importance of growing up at Christ the Good Shepherd Church and the role it’s had in her life. She was active in Sunday school, was an acolyte, helped pack baskets for Good Shepherd Manor, and modeled in many CGS fashion shows.
A graduate of USC with a bachelor’s in psychology and a master’s in marital family therapy, she received a clinical Doctor of Psychology, with an emphasis in multicultural communities, from the Alliant International University’s California School of Professional Psychology. In the fall of 2020, Barrow-Dunn joined the teaching faculty for USC’s marital family therapy program, which mentors and educates mental health professionals.
She is married to Ian Dunn, and they have three children, Ahmani, Bryce, and Charlee Lyra.
